Holy woodcut portrait

This workshop is suited for anyone from youths to seniors. The first part of the workshop is a 30-minute lecture introducing various printmaking techniques and sharing good tips. The practical part includes cutting the wooden block into a matrix and choosing the most suitable auto portrait for the final print.
After choosing the preferred print and reprinting it from the computer we will include more matrixes either self-made or already prepared by the artists and if necessary then even more cuts. Finally the ink is spread on the matrix, the matrix will get its final touch and the printmaking may start. The latter is performed in the traditional handprinting style.
The final print is unique auto portrait or a portrait of your friend that you can decorate your home with or give to your friends as original and touching gift.
